Amount of leave and the leave year

  1. The Company holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Unless your contract of employment provides differently, you are entitled to statutory paid leave. Your contract of employment sets out your personal entitlement and conditions regarding bank/public holidays. You are not permitted to carry leave over to the subsequent leave year.
  2. The holiday entitlement for staff joining during the year will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. The Company will honor your holiday commitments for the year in which you join us, provided this has been mutually agreed before you commence employment. Any days in excess of your contractual entitlement will be given at the discretion of your line manager and will be without pay. 
  3. If you work part-time, your annual holiday entitlement is pro-rata to the entitlement for full-time employees in the complete holiday year.
  4. Your holiday is accrued at a rate of 0.1207 hours per hour worked, unless otherwise stated in your contract of employment.
